WHAT IS YOUNG FARMERS ALL ABOUT? There are many ways that you could benefit from joining Collone YFC. First of all, it is run by members, for the members, with the guidance of those who have a vast knowledge and experience with the the YFC organisation. YFC has democratic format that allows each member to express their own point of view and this is one option that most organisations do not allow. The more you put into the YFC, the more you can get out of it. One factor that allows the organisation to be the success it is today, is the range competitions. These spread out over the year and cover a range of activities allowing a member to constantly improve and reach a high standard with their work. The competitions range from the traditional agricultural events, for example, stock judging to sports activities, to drama competitions. Another beneficiary factor is that members can also take part in courses which enables them to build up their ‘skills for life’ which can then be added to their record of achievement.
